Doug Morash

As Group-Vice President, Mr. Morash is responsible for customer satisfaction and relationships, Space Sector strategy generation and implementation. Mr. Morash joined Moog in 1974 as a Project Engineer in the New Products Design and Development Department. In 1979 he assumed the additional tasks of the Prototype Propellant Valve Assembly and Test Department Supervisor, and then in 1981 was promoted to Manager of Engineering of the newly formed Space Products Division. After serving as Engineering Manager for 17 years, Mr. Morash assumed the Space Products Product Line Manager responsibilities. In 2006, Mr. Morash became the Business Unit Director of the Launch Vehicle and NASA Programs business unit and was responsible for new business and product development and timely and profitable execution of existing programs In 2007 Mr. Morash was appointed Group Vice-President of the Space and Defense Group. The Space Sector consists of three business units; Launch Vehicles and NASA Programs, Spacecraft Controls and Vibration Control. Mr. Morash was inducted into the Niagara Frontier Aviation and Space hall of fame in May of 2012. Mr. Morash received a BSME Degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with honors and was active in Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma honorary engineering societies. In 1972, he received his Masters Degree in mechanical engineering with honors from Cornell University. Mr. Morash and his wife, Denise, have two children and reside in Grand Island, New York.
