Jody Davis

Jody Davis is an Aerospace Engineer at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. She earned her Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and her Masters degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from University of Virginia. She specializes in the area of Entry, Descent and Landing (EDL), trajectory simulation and Monte Carlo analysis. Jody has contributed to missions such as Cassini-Huygens, Mars Phoenix Lander and has supported EDL and landing night operations for Mars Science Laboratory’s (MSL) successful landing August 6th, 2012. She is currently working MSL EDL trajectory reconstruction and is the Langley flight dynamics technical lead for the Low-Density Supersonic Decelerator (LDSD) flight test project.
